Bachmann 0-4-0

Several years ago when the Bachmann side tank Porter (in 1:22 scale) was a fairly new addition to their line it was popular to try to change the appearence to a more protypical look.  This change usually consisted of shortening the firebox area of the frame and changing the motor installation to a vertical position in the boiler backhead and reversing the gears.  At that point the boiler and tanks could be shortened to match the new shortened frame and the locomotive could be re-assembled into something that has a much closer resemblance to a Porter.  The pictures here are my attempt at this conversion.
